Many people look at this picture and immediately see the well known 'Footprints in the sand' poem. In this the two sets of footprints that walk together become one as Jesus ( one of the walkers) carries the other through difficult times.

I didn't create this painting with that in mind but as a picture paints a 1000 words there will be many interpretations!

I see it more as finding a place to spend time alone with God. As we move towards Him, he runs out to meet us like the father in the prodigal son story. He will be with us in the good times and the bad.
