At the moment I am offering weekly taught classes that take a different medium for each term. There will be new ' half day workshops' added regularly so don't forget to add yourself to my emailing list if you would like to stay informed of these!

Friday Classes

There are currently two weekly classes on a Friday - one at 10 am and one at 12.30pm.

These are held in Upper Clatford Village Hall near Andover, Hants (SP11 7QL)

The 2 hour classes are carefully crafted so that we build on skills we have already mastered and explore new techniques. There is plenty of information about the subject we studying and materials that will be needed in the weekly class email. The groups are friendly and mixed ability so you will always find some complete beginners sitting amongst other very experienced artists ... we find it works!

There is plenty of parking behind the hall.

Classes cost £100 for a block of 5 lessons or £25 per session if booked singly

Drawing skills Spring Term '26

In these classes we will be looking at different techniques that can help form the structure of a good drawing. Covering things like perspective and negative space exercises, artists at every level will hone their skills. We will use a variety of mediums including pen and wash and charcoal and chalk.

Perfect Pastels Begins 24th April (7 weeks)

Ever though that Pastels are too messy? It depends on the paper you are working on! Lynne will help you to create some very realistic images right from the start and show you how, with addition of a few extra tools and pastel pencils, you can create some beautiful paintings.

Working withAcrylics Begins 2nd October (8 weeks)

Working on canvases, boards or paper, Acrylic paints are such a versatile medium. Join us as we explore light, space, mood and movement during this 8 week course projects will be designed to boost your confidence and help you create pictures which you will want to hang on your walls!

Hi Lynne, I really enjoyed today's class. Perspective is something that I found difficult before today. The penny has dropped!

I took a few photos of nice old buildings whilst we where away on holiday in France last year. This should now make drawing them easier or at least getting them running in the right direction!

This year Lynne will be at Spring Harvest, Minehead which is held in Butlins 6th -10th April. Plenty to see and do and plenty of art to get involved with. Its a great time away .... check the Spring Harvest website

Creative Week at Le Pas Opton in the Vendee is not to be missed. In addition to Saltmine theatre company, guests can enjoy the pool, photography, Martin Young speaking, fresh baguettes and of course watercolour classes with me! 15 -19/6

The Gather women's conference is a lovely day of teaching and fellowship in Somerton in Somerset. I will be painting live at this event and available to say hello during the breaks. More details to follow.

One of the most beautiful places in Britain, Lee Abbey stands at the end of the Valley of the Rocks, looking out over its own private beach. A comfortable, peaceful stay with good food and company. I will be leading morning talks on birds of the bible and then we'll be capturing them in pastel. 21 -25/ 09
